First Remote Pre-amp for the API 500 Series

Electronics design firm develops remote controllable microphone pre-amplifier.Prodigy Engineering pre-amp

Chae H. Ham, Principal Design Engineer at Prodigy Engineering, reports the company has developed the first-ever, remote-controllable, microphone preamplifier for the API500 Series format. The preamplifier is called Bella.

Bella features relay stepped gain from 18 to 69dB in 1dB increments. It also has switchable high-pass filter (-3dB @78Hz).
