Future Excavator Receives Award
At the Global Design Show, the Best of the Best Award went to Doosan. 
Doosan Infracore has receiving the Best of the Best Award at the 2009 Reddot Design Award Show for the futuristic concept excavator, CX.
This Award was first started in 1955, and is managed by Design Zentrum Nordheim Westfalen in Germany. The award is given after the world’s biggest design competition, one of the world’s top three competitions, along with the iF Design Award and the IDEA design award.

That looks awesome. There wouldn't happen to be a 3dxml file of this anywhere so we can play with the actual model is there?

That's a great design, but is it actually possible to build a real machine out of this? I'm sure mechanical engineers must be salivating at the picture and the challenge. I'll go and read the rest of the article.
